How Do I Use The New School's New Colors for My Projects?

The New School colors are red, black, and white. A Pantone red, called “Parsons Red,” has been created exclusively for the university. (Red is not used for the logo itself. The logo is always black or white. Please see Brand Guide for specific instructions on how to use color and logos.)

Here are the values for our red (print and digital):

    • Pantone Breakdown Rubine Red (51), Yellow 012(49)
    • CMYK Breakdown C (0), M (99), Y (91), K (0)
    • Screen Breakdown R (232), G (46), B (33)
    • HTML Breakdown #E82E21

Can I Still Use Materials with the Old Logo and/or School Names?

Please try to avoid using materials with old logos and school names and instead use the DIY system to create new materials as soon as you can. Between now and fall 2015, you can use existing student-facing materials with the former brand. The goal is to have all student-facing materials on brand for the start of the next academic year.

Will Training on Using the New Font, Logos, and DIY Tools Be Offered?

Yes. Please email  Maria-Elena Grant if you are interested in DIY training, and let her know if you use mostly Word templates or InDesign versions.
