• To-Do List for Summer Financial Aid 

    • Complete the Summer Aid Application
    • Meet with an academic advisor to discuss summer enrollment plans.
    • Academic merit and need-based scholarships can be extended to the summer semester, depending on the minimum enrollment requirements established by the department.
    • Pell Grants can be extended to the summer semester. 
    • If you take out student loans, check your eligibility to borrow. For example, if you attended full-time in the fall and spring semesters and borrowed the maximum amount of subsidized and unsubsidized federal loans, you will not be able to borrow for the summer.
    • Federal PLUS Loans and private loans can be taken out for the summer.
