    As part of the New School Alumni Summer Reading List book talk series, join Zakiya Dalila Harris, MFA Creative Writing ’16, author of the instant New York Times bestseller The Other Black Girl, and A.E. Osworth, MFA Creative Writing ’16, author of We Are Watching Eliza Bright, as they discuss the craft of writing the thriller novel. The authors will delve into the books' marginalized characters, who navigate power dynamics in the workplace, as well as other literary devices that create suspense and drive storylines.
