Profile
Professor Villa taught Spanish and Italian for many years at Hunter College, CUNY. She taught World Civilizations at Montclair State University, NJ. Her doctoral work was related to Medieval and humanist studies, and she has developed an interest in Spanish and Latin American literature focused on issues of social justice. Professor Villa has also sought to develop engaging classroom applications of film/video to improve language acquisition.
