Te Kalliste (For the Most Beautiful)
Te Kalliste (Greek for "for the most beautiful") tells my story of surviving sexual assault. In the form of a book, I weave photographs, poetry, and prose together through the lens of Greek mythology. With nods to notable mythological women who are also sexual assault survivors, I channel their stories and struggle to help share my own. Through reimagining and reinventing myths, I’ve created a new myth that reclaims the agency of survivors as well as empowering and reclaiming my agency.
