    Advising
    The color pink is associated with femininity. Prisoners at Tent City in Arizona (closed since the start of this project) were forced to wear pink underwear and socks, as a form of emasculation and humiliation. This project is an attempt to reclaim the color by creating my own Pink Prison. As a color associated with romance and joy, my Pink Prison alludes to a fantasy film, where inmate uniforms are whimsical and pretty.
