  • To Make a Mirror

    Advising

Nature is indifferent to suffering. I turn to it for answers that I may not receive, so I must seek them myself. To Make a Mirror is a series of photographs that explore the self and environments that represent the otherworldly, incomparable and sublime. By designing and constructing garments for each location, I connect fashion to the natural world. I do not search for civilization in these landscapes. Instead, I venture there to take a moment for myself, to be quiet, and to reflect. By blending into these environments, I vanish, just as I ask to be seen.
