    What if light had the qualities of textiles? If a light fixture were as protean in form as light itself, would it be better suited to address our emotional needs? The Vela Light combines ancient techniques and contemporary materials to create unique structural qualities. It is a portable light fixture that provides the user with opportunities to personalize lighting in public spaces and addresses people's shifting and complex lighting needs.
