    Advising
Aging is a part of the natural life cycle. As people age, they tend to lose their social roles. The decreased amount of social interaction can lead to social isolation. Sound Circle addresses the challenge of aging, with an optimistic outlook on how design can transform the way we live in the future. Props designed for public parks will use the innate power of sound to bring communities together and help create intergenerational interactions. The space is designed to help develop stronger ties between elders of the community (who can share knowledge of the past) and the youth of today (who are facing the future). Providing an outdoor space that is safe and comfortable can enhance the quality of life for seniors. Sound Circle creates soothing sounds, encourages self-expression, supports social interactions, and motivates people to go outdoors and enjoy the open air.
