    Inspired directly by one of my personal eye conditions, Amblyopia is a series that uses the science and process of visual perception as a starting point to create photographic abstractions. The camera, unfiltered by the human brain, creates these aesthetic interpretations of my visual process.The project can be presented as prints or as a video installation piece. The video installation highlights the idea of binocular vision and fusion, creating a visual experience for the viewer from a visual process. www.meganpaetzhold.com
