    Jazz Club Underground
Jazz Club Underground is a 15-week behavioral study observing the influence of analog and digital music in daily life and brand development. For the design process, I followed a set of written guidelines that set the stage for practicing advanced techniques in tailoring and patternmaking. The guidelines prohibited listening to digital music or using headphones for eight weeks to allow for direct engagement with physical environments; listening to recordings of 1960s jazz and 1980s punk was the focus. During the remaining seven weeks, I turned to digital resources, movies, and television to inform final design decisions. The resulting collection, created under the brand name Casa Travieso, incorporates both traditional skills and new and experimental techniques, producing garments with a unique cut and flexible fit. Casa Travieso is defined by its ability to adapt form and deliver high-quality, comfortable clothing designed for all.
