    Advising
Weaving is the main element of my thesis collection. My references include Japanese basket weaving, African wire weaving and southeast Asian palm leaf weaving, among other techniques. Transforming all these techniques into fabrics and ribbons is the most interesting part of my collection. I also take cues from the African tribe wrap dress and colors used by the German artist Imi Knoebel. These garments not only contain physical weaving elements, but also elements of Asian, African and European cultures and traditions. [email protected] .
