Where were you born, and where did you grow up?
I was born and grew up in Wadowice, a city in a mountainous region in the south of Poland.

What course or project was your favorite? Tell us about it.
My favorite course was Objects as History, with Dr. Gabriel Wick. Through the objects we could speculate how our ancestors used them, how they were made, and what they meant to our ancestors. We had a lot of field trips to museums in Paris, so we could learn history while observing the physical objects in person. Paris is known for its rich history, architecture, and excellent museums. Inspiration can be found everywhere within the city. In my first semester, we explored the city as flaneurs and wrote about our experiences. We also had trips to museums to practice our drawing skills.
