  • Unfolding Light: In Search of Its Pure Form and Movement

    Advising

In this project, Park explores the experience of light, the most dynamic of architectural elements. Light constantly changes during the day, as does our perception of it. Park investigates three fundamental aspects of light: volume, the optical distribution of light; movement, the time-based transition of light; and perception, our experience of light and space. Inspired by the cubist quest to establish a visual language for an abstract reality, Park has created light visualizations that blend science and metaphysics to reinterpret the conceptual experience of light.
