    "Willy is Dead" is a photographic series based on the original film version of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Rooted in a surreal world of sickly sweet colors and sin, young adult versions of the children from the tale are displayed alongside playfully dark still life images. Each character exemplifies unabashed indulgence derived from his or her childhood persona, and a commentary of human vices and corruption of youth resonates throughout.
