  • (EX)TERIOR: Breaking The Inside Out

    Advising
MARNI is a New York City boutique that is breaking barriers by bringing the interior out. This thesis design places interior spaces, which are supposed to be private, into unexpected public areas. Its intention is to blur the boundaries of interior and exterior and break down barriers between people and in buildings and between mass-market and high-end fashion. The design leads customers to walk down a runway, the most important component of the store. Without awareness or intention, they become part of the display, the product, and the store.
