  • THE FIFTH FACADE

    Advising
The roof can be the most important and essential structural element of the home and property. It's thought of as the fifth facade. But in most cases the roof is only considered a plane of protection and is carelessly designed, as the top of a box. When this surface can be thoughtfully integrated with other features of the home such as tectonics, daylight, electric light, and natural elements, the roof should work in a connected manner with the rest of the home.
