    Keeping your knowledge and skills up-to-date as markets change and technologies advance is critical to your professional success. The Media Management curriculum prepares you with the insights and strategies needed for the rapidly evolving media industry. You may plan in-depth study in one or more of the subject areas listed below, sample a variety of subjects and approaches, or both. You also have the option of completing a graduate minor as part of your course of study.

    Career Paths

    Media Management graduates pursue their passions in many areas, including production, marketing, and business management for television, film, radio, and digital media; branding, marketing, and advertising; and media administration for commercial and nonprofit organizations. Many students advance their careers even before they graduate, participating in internships at leading media companies and programs such as TIDAL, NBC News, CNN, BET, Sony Music Entertainment, and The Late Show on CBS.

    Ninety-seven percent of 2018 graduates were employed within 12 months of graduating.
