    Stacy Seiler is an Assistant Professor of First-Year, Strategic Design & Management, Summer Intensive Studies and Pre-College programs at Parsons. Stacy is also a practicing artist, writer and design educator with 12 years of university teaching experience that includes the Fashion Institute of Technology, Drew University, and Parsons Paris. In 2012 Stacy was honored as a finalist for the New School’s University Distinguished Teaching Award. In her professional life, Stacy is the Art Editor of IRK Magazine, Paris (2016 -) and was previously a Contributing Writer of Arts and Culture for Downtown Magazine, New York (2011-2016). She began teaching in 2005 following a 7-year career as a web designer and programmer for Agora Publishing, e.magination and Sundberg & Associates specializing in the corporate identity and branding of Fortune 500 companies. Selected Clients: News Corporation, McGraw Hill, AIG, Fleet-Meehan and Waverly Home. In her practice as an artist, Stacy focuses her research and drawings on the documentation of pre-war industrial architecture with the intention of visually preserving the structural forms along with the communities that were a part of their story. She has exhibited both nationally and internationally over the past 20 years, and her work is represented by Catherine Weinstock Design in New York. Recent Exhibitions: Spattered Columns; FIT; Curious Matter; Metro Pictures; Sothebys, St. Moritz; Swiss General Consulate, New York; Dubai Airport Expo, United Arab Emirates. Stacy holds a BFA with a minor in Art History from The Maryland Institute College of Art, a MFA from Parsons School of Design and a TESOL Certification from New School University.
