Profile
Noa Raviv is an artist and designer based in New York. Her practice spans sculpture, installation, textiles, ceramics, and text, and often merges traditional craft with digital technologies. Working with materials such as silicone, breast milk, felt, engine oil, hair, and found objects, Raviv creates works that examine the ways language, the female body, and materials store and transmit energy.
Raviv’s work has been exhibited at institutions including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, the Mingei Museum in San Diego, the Israel Museum and Hansen House in Jerusalem, and the Holon Design Museum. She was a member of NEW INC, the New Museum’s incubator, and her work has been featured in Vogue, The Cut, BBC, Wired, Nylon, Dezeen, Fast Company, and TimeOut.
