Nicky Woo's fascination with the beauty of the human spirit, deeply influences her approach to image making.
After earning her undergraduate degree in psychology, Nicky realized she was more interested in celebrating the intricacies of the human condition than in dismantling it, so she transitioned to art school at Parson's School of Design.
In Nicky's time as an independent, her clients have included Surface, Marie Claire, Der Spiegel, CNN, OkayAfrica, Levi's, DKNY, BuzzFeed, Time, O Magazine, Men's Health, and Interview magazines. She currently divides her time between New York and Tanzania as her focus shifts from commercial work towards documentary.
