    Profile

Formerly a car designer, transitioned into a multidisciplinary artist and designer, responsible for the art direction at the fashion brand MELITTA BAUMEISTER, my approach to design is inherently interdisciplinary, with a strong foundation in contemporary art. Making in various physical and digital forms, speculative thought and engagement with different communities are at the core of my practice.

As a brand we create sculptural high-end fashion based in advanced patternmaking, experimental use of material and craftmanship. Our garments stand for body and gender inclusivity focusing on shape amnd silhouette, proposing new definitons of fit and beauty.

As an educator I'm passionate about unconventional, interdisciplinary approaches that bridge critical and conceptual thought with hands-on making. My aim is to encourage students to expand their creative process, push the boundaries and conventions of design and help build future we all want to live in.
