    Lia Lowenthal

    Profile

    Lia Lowenthal is an interdisciplinary artist and designer based in the Bronx, New York. She received her MFA at the Milton Avery Graduate School for the Arts at Bard College in 2014, and her BA in Fine Art at UCLA in 2006. Lowenthal is the founder and principal of LL, LLC, a conceptually-driven jewelry brand. 

    Her work has been written about and featured in Vogue, The New York Times, T Magazine, Women's Wear Daily, The New Yorker, Architectural Digest, among others. She has held visiting professorships at University of Nevada Las Vegas and Virginia Commonwealth University, and currently teaches in the Foundations department at Pratt Institute.
