Profile
Julie Muszynski is an author, illustrator, designer, and just plain all-around creative. She spent her formative years in her career working in the prestigious advertising and fashion departments at Saks Fifth Avenue and Calvin Klein respectively, moving on to work as a freelance stylist for clients including Bergdorf Goodman, Burberry, Martha Stewart Living, and Vogue. Research is an integral part of her personal and professional work, some of the archives she has worked extensively with include Diana Vreeeland's archive housed at both The New York Public Library and The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Henry Ford Museum, The American Kennel Club, The Museum of Natural History, The New School as well as the archives and collections of many other prominent designers and artists. Julie has written five books, three of which she also illustrated and designed based on her charming character, Henley™®. She is a graduate of the Parsons School of Design, studied animation at The School of Visual Arts, received her MFA in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology, and went on to receive a Certificate in Graphic Design from Parsons.
