    Professor Janice Everett MDesRCA: Educated in U.K. at Brighton Art College then at Middelsex Polytechnic (formally Hornsey College of Art) gaining a Diploma in Art & Design, followed by the Royal College of Art, London, with an MA in Textile Design. Worked as a free-lance knit designer and sales agent for a textile design studio until moving to New York City in the 1970's where my career expanded to print, woven, knit design, and trend forecasting in the fashion industry. I have developed and taught textile design course at NIFT in New Dehli, India; CAD woven design and machine knitting at FIT; and have been an Adjunct Professor at LIM College NYC for 15 year teaching a variety of course in the fashion merchandising department on the business of fashion.

    History of fashion, sustainable textiles, social trends, art
