Profile
Gabriela Kreutzberger is an educator and Industrial Designer whose work bridges sustainability, material innovation, and human connection. She teaches Human Factors at Parsons School of Design, where she encourages students to approach design as both a practical discipline and a cultural practice—shaping not only objects, but also the ways people interact with one another and their environments.
With a background in sustainability consulting and an MFA in Industrial Design from Parsons, Gabriela brings an interdisciplinary perspective that blends systems thinking, design research, and hands-on making. Her projects range from biodesign explorations—growing and fabricating with alternative materials—to intergenerational tools that foster meaningful face-to-face interactions.
Gabriela’s work has been exhibited at ICFF's launchpad and featured in Interior Design magazine, where she received an NYCxDesign Award for her lamp design, LUMINOSSA. She is also a Global Shaper of the World Economic Forum and a former UN SDSN Youth Fellow.
