Williams is the author and illustrator of graphic memoir and illustrated non-fiction about science, medicine, addiction, and illness in the United States. She's the coauthor and illustrator of the best-selling Big Activity Book series. She's also a quantitative scientific researcher with 10+ years experience in data analysis and multiple peer-reviewed publications on racial disparities and inequity in healthcare in the United States.
