Profile
Throughout his career, Daniel has held influential roles within both design and consulting. His early experiences with renowned design teams at Michael Kors and Narciso Rodriguez laid the foundation for his future successes. However, it was his 11-year tenure at Marc Jacobs that gave him the education, experience and knowledge that would forever shape his outlook on design and style. As Design Director for Marc by Marc Jacobs, Daniel’s creative direction helped elevate and expand the brand's many menswear divisions. His expertise has also been sought by prestigious brands such as J.Crew, where he served as Consultant Design Director, and Coach, where he held the role of Design Director. Additionally, he has lent his vision and insight to several high-end skiwear and streetwear labels.
Daniel's work as a personal stylist began as a favor for friends and peers—helping them style looks for events, advising on wardrobe building for career or life changes and offering shopping guidance. As word spread, his services gained increasing demand. Over the past few years, Daniel has quickly grown his client base, working with a diverse range of men and helping them individually refine their personal style, working with them to build cohesive, dynamic, up-to-date wardrobes.Drawing from his extensive expertise in fittings, styling shows, shoots, and look books, along with years of intimate, hands-on experience, Daniel imparts a quiet mastery to each client. He helps them uncover the confidence to reshape their aesthetic and refine their personal style. It’s not merely about looking the part; it’s about feeling it, too. Daniel is devoted to guiding each individual toward their own unique sartorial excellence.
In parallel with his styling work, Daniel is an educator and mentor, serving as an adjunct professor at Parsons School of Design. There, he shares his wealth of industry knowledge with the next generation of designers, teaching senior-year Thesis Fashion Design on the BFA Fashion program.
