    Dana D'Amico

    Profile

    New York City based Industrial Designer, Consultant and Educator, Dana D'Amico creates work that evokes effortless simplicity. Blending urban elements with influences from nature, Dana's modern, refined style comes from a respect for both material and form

    Dana has over twenty years of experience working with numerous renowned brands ranging from housewares to fashion houses. Regardless of the client, Dana believes it is vital to think as a maker throughout the design process. Working hands-on with the factories that produce her designs, she tra­vels the world and is involved in all aspects of product development.

    Rhode Island School of Design graduate and adjunct professor, Dana shares her  passion and knowledge with her students.

    Also an adjunct professor at Pratt Institute and Parsons School of Design, Dana offers students a unique connection to the industry and professional insight has synthesized this connection in study abroad courses in Portugal and Italy.

    Dana’s work has been featured in various prominent design publications including the cover of T: The New York Times Style Magazine. Her designs are currently available for sale locally and abroad.
