Profile
Carolina Bedoya is a textile artist, circular systems strategist, and sustainability educator whose work focuses on circular design solutions. She has over a decade of experience developing educational programs that connect creative practice with sustainable systems, teaching students, professionals, and community audiences to rethink the role of textiles in society.
Carolina has collaborated with organizations such as EILEEN FISHER, H&M’s H2 Exchange, and the GIZ–IDOM Circular Economy project in Colombia, advancing new models for reuse, repair, and remanufacturing. Her practice and research emphasize the transformation of post-consumer textiles into valuable resources as a way to challenge waste and expand sustainable design opportunities.
Her work is included in the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum’s Textile Collection and has been featured in People en Español. She has spoken at MIT Solve, Textile Exchange, and other international forums on circularity and sustainable design.
Fluent in English and Spanish, she continues to merge art, education, and systems thinking to inspire sustainable futures.
