    Alexandra Bekker

    Profile

Alexandra (Alex) Bekker is a designer, researcher, and educator working at the intersection of strategic design, futures, governance, and social theory. Her practice explores the role of design in governance innovation – not only as a tool for improving policies and services, but as a means of reshaping relational infrastructures, institutional logics, and imaginaries of governance itself.

As a part-time lecturer in the School of Design Strategies, she develops teaching methods that equip students to critically interrogate the worlds they live in and build the literacies needed to co-create more just and care-centered futures.

She has collaborated with organizations including Dark Matter Labs, Berggruen Institute, RadicalxChange, Stanford University, Rockefeller Foundation, Omidyar Network, Partners for a New Economy, Deloitte, OECD, and UN agencies.
