Biography: Sam started her career at a tech and media start-up that offered editorial and educational programming to college students around the globe. She then worked as an instructional designer across several education companies, including General Assembly, before landing at The New School. She has seen the university through the remote teaching transition of 2020, introduced the first official online faculty training, and helped to build the university’s first-ever fully online graduate degree program at Parsons. She is excited to help define the future of online teaching and learning here at the New School. She is also an alumna of Schools of Public Engagement.

Biography: Wajahat brings years of experience working with instructional technology for a global audience. He recently completed his M.A. in Instructional Technology and Media from the Teacher’s College at Columbia University. He can be found helping faculty find the best way to integrate educational technologies into their courses, enrich their student’s learning experiences through the online modality, and make the most out of their online learning environment. He is also the Vice Chair for General Support and Management for UPCEA, The Online and Professional Education Association, for 2024-25. He specializes in EdTech implementation and online course design.
