    Prizes: the Alexander Gretchaninoff Prize in composition, the George Gershwin Memorial Scholarship; Techniques of Music Award, Morris Bursky Award. Former Music Director, Great Neck Choral Society. Conductor, Brewer Chamber Orchestra, Baroque Orchestra of St. Luke's, Philomel Ensemble, the Palmer Singers and Chamber Orchestra. Recordings for Newport Classic, Vox, Helicon, Spectrum, Omega, Leonarda, Premier, Albany. Faculty, The Mannes College of Music Extension Division, since 1983.
