Mellon Foundation grant for Restoration, Dissemination, and Repatriation of the Earliest Recordings and Films in Bali.

    Participant: Stanford University’s Reactions to the Records II and III.  Co-founder/co-director, Scuola Italiana del Greenwich Village Writer and producer of over 230 LPs and CDs; assistant producer to Teresa Sterne/Nonesuch; founder of Arbiter and World Arbiter Records, director: Arbiter of Cultural Traditions; author of Ignaz Friedman: Romantic Master Pianist: (Indiana Univ. Press); co-editor: Moriz Rosenthal In Word and Sound (Indiana Univ. Press);  Articles on music, cuisine and Jewish history and literature in The ForwardDetails, World Music; co-author of La Cucina Picena (with B. Muzi; F. Muzzio, Padova), Lectures and radio talks on historic performers and cuisine in the US, and Italy.  Concert performances (guitar: Piedmont Blues, Gospel and Ragtime) in Italy, Estonia, and various New York storefront Black Baptist Churches;  Curator: Great Pianists of the Century on Film , Lincoln Center (in cooperation with the  Musée Louvre,  Paris).  Audio restoration of historic recordings in various media.  Archivist for Boston University's Roman Totenberg Legacy.
