The New School is home to more than 3,500 international students and research scholars from more than 100 countries. The ISSS staff is dedicated to providing students and scholars with immigration support services and programs so that they can succeed in achieving their academic and career goals.

Please visit this webpage as well as the accompanying webpages for information and resources related to F-1 and J-1 immigration status and benefits. It is students' and scholars' responsibility to maintain legal status in the United States at all times and to fully comply with New School policies and procedures. Students and scholars should always consult an ISSS advisor about their specific situation.
