Waiving Insurance

Students with their own health insurance coverage comparable to the Student Health Insurance Plan must submit an online waiver form each school year before the posted deadlines.

The waiver forms for the 2026–2027 school year will be available at universityhealthplans.com/tns beginning April 28, 2026. The fall 2026 waiver deadline is September 8, 2026.

  • If you submit a waiver form in the fall semester, the waiver will be automatically applied to your account for the spring semester of the same academic year.
  • A new waiver form must be submitted each school year.

The waiver deadlines for the 2025–2026 school year have passed.
