To-Do List for Graduates
- Apply for admission to The New School.
- Search and apply for external scholarships. Check with your employer for tuition assistance programs.
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Review the cost of attendance and develop a preliminary budget. Include all of your resources and expenses for one academic year.
- Returning and continuing students can view their financial aid information through their MyNewSchool portal.
- Newly admitted students can review their financial aid award and outstanding requirements in the Admission Hub. Grants and scholarships are automatically accepted; federal student loans are in an offered status until they are accepted.
- Federal grants are not available to graduate students; however, they may borrow up to $20,500 per year in federal unsubsidized loans. Review loan information at studentaid.gov.
