External Funding

Students and their families may need funding beyond what they are eligible to receive from The New School and through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you are not eligible for federal aid or you need funds to help bridge the gap between your aid and your expenses, you may want to pursue funding from external sources, such as outside scholarships, New York State aid for qualifying residents, or private educational loans. We recommend that students review all grant, scholarship, and federal loan options before pursuing private educational loans.
