Task Force Recommendations

The New School Campus Climate Assessment Task Force is excited to present the following recommendations for your consideration.  Based upon a full review of the Campus Climate Assessment reports, as well as our engagement with the independent consultants, the Task Force brought to bear its collective insight of the various parts of The New School, as well as the university’s values and priorities, and endeavored to create a set of university-wide recommendations that the entire community may consider and share input.

While these recommendations do not represent an exhaustive catalogue of the different ideas to promote and ensure equity, diversity, inclusion and social justice, we draw upon the priorities highlighted by the campus climate assessment reports. These recommendations offer a framework to engage our community, and we look forward to your help refining, updating and prioritizing the recommendations moving forward.  In the days ahead, we will be seeking ways to invite broad participation and input and will pay special attention to ensure that underrepresented groups are actively engaged.
