Application Instructions

  • Application Deadlines

    Fall semester (late August to mid-December): May 15

    Spring semester (late January to mid-May): October 15 

    Application Requirements: Undergraduate

    The Office of Admission at Parsons’ New York campus must receive the items listed below before reviewing an application. Application materials should be sent to 79 Fifth Avenue, 5th floor, New York, NY 10003.

    All Applicants

    1. A completed Visiting Student Application form (PDF).
    2. A completed Advisor Approval form (PDF). 
    3. Recommendation Letter (optional)
    4. English Proficiency Test Scores - if English is not one's native language (TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE)
    5. Official Transcripts
    6. Visiting Student Statement
    7. Portfolio (for Fashion Design Students only)


    • Portfolio (for Fashion Design students only): 8-12 pieces of a student's strongest work in his or her area of interest. Please submit your portfolio through  SlideRoom. You are not required to submit a Parsons Challenge. You may skip this portion by writing "N/A" in the text boxes.
    • Visiting Student Statement: What do you make, how do you make it, and why do you make? Ultimately, where do you visualize your creative abilities and academic study taking you after your education at Parsons Paris? (Maximum of 500 words.)

    Tuition for the semester $16,000 USD for up to 19 credits. 

    BBA Specific

    • Visiting Student Statement: In 500–550 words, describe a situation in which you combined analysis and creativity to solve a challenging problem. The problem could be personal, social, political, environmental. The Admission Committee is interested more in your process or method in considering the problem than in whether you reached a definitive solution.

    Tuition for the semester $16,000 USD for up to 19 credits.

    CODA Suites (Visiting)

    Visiting Student Statement: Please describe your interest in the CODA Suites and in Parsons Paris.  (Maximum of 500 words.)

    Tuition for CODA is $12,300 USD + fees for the 5 courses (4 in spring + 1 in June). This is a package price, and there is no refund if a student decides not to take the June course. A student may take additional courses and will have to pay the per-credit rate.


    International students (those who are not EU citizens or permanent residents) must obtain a student visa before they enter France. Letters of acceptance include a link enabling students to begin their visa application.
