As a Parsons Paris student, you join a diverse community in a dynamic city. We strongly encourage students unfamiliar with Paris, particularly first-year students, to take advantage of student housing.
Parsons Paris is located in a newly renovated historic building at 45 rue Saint-Roch, a short walk from the Louvre, the Opéra Garnier, Gaîté Lyrique media arts center, and other cultural highlights. Students from around the world looking for a Parsons education in an international city with a program taught in English study and live alongside New School mobility students spending one or two semesters away from
New York to immerse themselves in the creative and intellectual activity of Paris.
The Parisian Apartment setting offers an independent lifestyle, with three to four students sharing an apartment in the city of Paris. Students living in these apartments share the facility with families and others who live, work, or study in Paris. A management company provides facility services. In the apartment-style residences, security measures ensure that access is provided only to residents and their guests.
An average apartment configuration is a 60-square-meter (about 650-square-foot) two-bedroom apartment with a kitchen, living-dining room, and bathroom. All apartments are located within the city of Paris and are no more than a 30- to 40-minute commute from Parsons Paris, with a maximum of one transfer on public transportation. Each apartment houses four students; bedrooms are double occupancy. Some apartments may house more than four students (with a maximum of eight students).
Parsons Paris will accept applications from students interested in sharing an apartment with peers in fall 2016 and spring 2017.

If you are not comfortable committing to the New School University Parisian Apartment option without knowing your exact housing address, roommates, or apartment layout, you may wish to secure housing on your own.
Housing is assigned on a first come, first served basis, subject to availability.
There are many other ways students can secure housing within Paris, including through independent student residence facilities and agencies that assist with apartment rentals. Parsons Paris may provide limited referrals to students seeking independent housing in Paris.
