Caroline Zimbalist

Zimbalist is known for her clothing designs, made with bioplastics, and for bringing mainstream attention to the use of this material in textiles. Her art is sold in a number of venues, such as 1st Dibs, Moda Operandi, and the Whitney Museum gift shop. She has been called an emerging designer to watch by media outlets including Harper's, Italian Elle, and T: The New York Times Style Magazine. Zimbalist values the natural world and is committed to bringing more attention to plastic waste. She owns three rescue dogs.  In March 2025, Caroline participated as a panelist in New School Alumni Presents: Women in Fashion Leadership.
