Annual Giving Programs

Now is the time to invest in the future our students will create—support The Annual Fund today.

Gifts to the Annual Fund allow The New School to respond immediately to the most urgent needs of its community, facilitating new ways of learning, bolstering cutting-edge technologies, and creating an equitable and inclusive institution for all our students. In recognition of the transformative impact of this unrestricted support, we are excited to announce the launch of new levels of the President’s Circle and the Parent and Family Council.

These donor recognition groups, along with the Alvin Johnson Society, help us to honor and connect the committed supporters who provide scholarships, fellowships, and other resources for our students. Members of these societies have access to benefits including advance notice of news and events, private tours of campus buildings and artwork, and much more. To become a member of these societies, make a qualifying gift to the Annual Fund for The New School, benefiting the university as a whole, or designate your gift to an Annual Fund overseen by the dean of a specific school or program. Want to get more out of giving? See our giving societies below!

Participation is renewable annually, and The New School fiscal year is from July 1 through June 30. Corporate matching gifts count toward membership if received or verified within the same fiscal year the gifts were made.
