Parsons Paris offers three- and four-week-long boot camps in art and design open to pre-college students (16 years and older) and college-level and adult students. The Summer Intensive program provides academically rigorous classes in artistically stimulating environments.
High school students are introduced to the art and design college experience through an immersive course of study. The program is open to high school students entering their junior or senior year and recent high school graduates, and many enroll to develop a portfolio for the college admissions process. Applicants must be 16–18 years of age.
Open to college and adult applicants who have completed at least one year of college or are 19 years of age or older by July of their entering year, this program helps students acquire the skills they need to reach academic and professional goals or to complement their full-time degree programs. Some students enroll to build a competitive portfolio for graduate program applications and prepare for advanced study.
Parsons also offers graduate-level summer study abroad seminars, which are open to students enrolled in master's and and doctoral programs at accredited universities. Participants earn graduate credit for successful completion of such courses.
All Summer Intensive Studies: Paris students earn three college credits upon successful completion of the course. In advance of registration, participants are strongly encouraged to consult an academic advisor at their home institution to confirm any details related to the approval and transfer of credits as well as fulfillment of graduation requirements.
