Faculty Meeting Schedule
The Faculty Meetings schedule provides exact dates for meetings of the full faculty, general seminar, dean's leadership council, and committee on awards and scholarships. These divisional meetings are held Wednesdays, 2:00-3:30 p.m., in the Wolff Conference Room, 6 East 16th Street, 11th floor. The appointment/reappointment and tenure committees meet Mondays, 12:00-1:45 p.m., in Wolff.
Academic Affairs provides central services for NSSR on policies, petitions (related to transfer credits and leaves of absence), doctoral consortium registrations, orientation, scholarships, and career services. Divisional peer student advisors chosen by department faculty, are trained by Academic Affairs staff and are available part-time to guide student registration and orientation,
Dean's Office Staff Guide
NSSR Dean's Office Staff Guide identifies key staff handling overall divisional operations, including research and travel funds, grant budgets, department budgets, faculty affairs, governance, program reviews, new hires, and other matters as directed by the dean.
