New School Faculty Information

Information For Faculty provides our faculty with all essential web links to resources such as the academic calendar, library resources, blackboard tutorials, syllabi guidelines, grants and grant deadlines, health insurance information and much more. Please see this important page at the start of each term. 

Faculty Meeting Schedule

Faculty Meetings (PDF) provides days/times for the executive faculty, general seminar, dean's faculty council, and committee on awards and scholarships.  These divisional meetings are held Wednesdays, 2:00-3:30 p.m. in the Wolff Conference Room, 6 East 16th Street, 11th Floor. The appointment/tenure committees meets Mondays 12-1:45 p.m. in Wolff.

Department Chairs, Directors of Undergraduate Studies, and Secretaries

NSSR Department Chairs, Directors of Undergraduate Studies, and Secretaries (PDF) provides divisional leadership and administrative support for our MA and PhD programs and for our departments' undergraduate majors at Eugene Lang College.

Academic Affairs

Academic Affairs provides central services for NSSR on policies, petitions (related to transfer credits and leaves of absence), doctoral consortium registrations, orientation, scholarships, and career services.  Divisional peer student advisorschosen by department faculty, are trained by academic affairs staff and available part-time to guide student registration and orientation.

Dean's Office Staff Guide

NSSR Dean's Office staff guide (PDF) handle overall divisional operations including questions about research & travel funds, grant budgets, department budgets, faculty affairs, governance, program reviews, new hires and other matters as directed by the dean.
