Dr. Talley teaches courses in the Concentration in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling and provides clinical supervision for students enrolled in that concentration. She is the Program Director of the Harm Reduction Psychotherapy Certificate Program, launched in Fall 2014. Dr. Talley’s courses and clinical work are focused on harm reduction psychotherapy and mindfulness-based interventions for the treatment of substance misuse and co-occurring disorders. Dr. Talley is also the Assistant Director of The Center for Optimal Living, a psychotherapy practice based on principles of integrative harm reduction psychotherapy in NYC. Please note that Dr. Talley is not currently involved in any research projects and does not maintain a research lab at The New School for Social Research.
