The minor in Film Production helps students develop a practical hands-on understanding of how to create a short film from conception through to completion.
Course availability may vary from semester to semester. Some courses may be in development and offered at a later time. Students seeking to pursue alternative coursework to fulfill the minor should consult with their advisors. Students interested in this minor are encouraged to begin the coursework in their sophomore year in order to fulfill all requirements in a timely fashion.

It is recommended that students completing the Film Production Minor also take NFLM 3411 Art of Film concurrently with NFLM 3600 Filmmaking Studio 1.
