Academic Calendars

Academic calendars, registration dates, and grading deadlines are maintained by the Registrar’s Office. The New School academic year includes fall, spring, and summer semesters. Please note that Parsons Paris and Mannes Prep follow different calendars.

The university has built two makeup days into the fall academic calendar, which can be used if a faculty member cannot hold class because of religious observance. Faculty can also use Canvas to deliver course content asynchronously if a class cannot meet because of religious observance. Faculty should note any changes to class session dates during their syllabus submission process.
