All students in the MA Arts Management and Entrepreneurship must complete a capstone. This year-long project gives students the opportunity to draw on and apply the knowledge they have gained in the program and to demonstrate their skills as socially engaged, independent creative producers.
Students envision, develop, pitch, and prototype an entrepreneurial project, (an independently produced performance project or a small enterprise that helps them advance toward their career goals. The project must engage one or more defined communities (even if at a prototyping or workshop phase) and must be produced independently.
