The BBA Strategic Design and Management program prepares new generations of creative thinkers to leverage cutting-edge practices in design-led research, strategy, and systems thinking, enabling them to lead the design of business and the business of design in innovative ways. Taught by industry specialists, this interdisciplinary program familiarizes you with critical design skills and the essentials of branding, product and service development, innovation, law, finance, ethics, value alignment, and sustainability.
Your BBA begins with Parsons’ first-year curriculum, which serves as the academic foundation for all undergraduate programs at Parsons. From your second year on, you dive into courses in your major field of study. Design history and theory seminars complement management and design-led research studios, helping you develop your research, writing, and critical reasoning skills. University electives broaden your perspectives.
Many BBA Strategic Design and Management students undertake internships during their studies that help launch their careers. Graduates find success in design strategy, innovation, entrepreneurship, branding and marketing, and management.
